City Council Meeting: The next City Council meeting will be on Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 at 6:15pm at City Hall.

City Hall will be CLOSED: Monday, September 5th is Labor Day, City Hall will be CLOSED all day.

Monthly Utility Billing: Utility bills are mailed out around the 1st of every month, they are due by the 15th EVERY MONTH. If you do not pay your entire bill by the 15th, you are assessed a 10% late fee. If you do not pay or make arrangements to pay at a later date, by the designated shut off date, your utilities WILL BE shut off. There is a $20 per utility reconnect fee. Avoid additional charges and pay EACH month by the 15th. For your convenience, there is a mail slot on the front door of City Hall, this is a secure lockbox that you can deposit your payment in when City Hall is not open.

Natural Gas Brochure: On the backside of this newsletter you will find an important message for Natural Gas customers.

RL Community Center: Planning a family gathering or special event? Consider renting space at the RL Community Center. They have newly remodeled rooms and plenty of space to hold your function. Several options are available. Some of the rooms available are the gymnasium, kitchen, cafeteria and fully equipped video/tele-conferencing training room. RL Community Center Memberships: If you are looking for a great place to workout or walk/run, consider getting a membership to the RL Community Center. The weight room and cardio equipment are top notch. Full access to the gym, is also a perk, when it is not booked for another event. Access is available 24 hours for convenience and offers a variety of options to help you get back on the track to a healthy lifestyle. RL Senior Center: Reminder that you can socialize and have a cup of coffee Mon-Fri mornings around 7:45am. Also play cards on the 1st & 3rd Thursday each month. Everyone is welcome!!!

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 6th, 2016! Watch for kids at the bus stop! Remember to stop when the bus has flashing lights and the stop sign arm is out.

Recycle Shed: Reminder that Round Lake has a special shed, located behind the former bank building; that is available for larger cardboard and any extra recyclables that you may have each month. Feel free to put recyclables in the shed when you’ve run out of room in your own recycle can. Nobles County has provided the shed to the residents of Round Lake for your convenience.

RL American Legion: The Legion will start serving pancake breakfasts again on OCTOBER 2, 2016. They provide a great Sunday breakfast of pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs. Most months it will be on the 1st Sunday of the month. Come support our local American Legion and enjoy a great meal.

The RL American Legion will NOT be having a pork chop meal in the month of September, the next one will be October 15th!
