2018 April Newsletter

The next City Council meeting will be on Wednesday, April 11th at 6:15pm in City Hall. There will be two public hearings for the business subsidy policy revision and the tax abatement request held first thing and the regular Council meeting will commence after. Public welcome to attend.

Bill Stubs: I would like to thank all of you who remember to bring your stubs with when paying your utility bills. It saves time for both of us and makes it much easier to make sure payments are put on the proper accounts. I encourage all residents to take a minute to grab their bill when stopping in to pay, thank you in advance! If you would like more information on the automatic payment program, let me know! You will receive your bill as usual and on the 15th of each month your payment will come out of your bank account automatically. You need to fill out a form and provide the City with a voided check.

Dog Licenses: If you have not gotten your 2018 Dog License yet, PLEASE stop in and pay the $10.00 fee for each dog. It’s important and REQUIRED if you live in Round Lake to have your dogs licensed. Bring shot information for your dogs so I can make a copy. Thanks! If you own a dog and do not have the license yet, you are in violation of our ordinance.

Reminder: Remove sump pump hoses from the sanitary sewer if you have not already done so.

Gas Budget Customers:  If you are a current budget customer, please plan on talking to me about your account. Budgets have ended for the season. PLEASE call me if you have any questions about your account. You MUST BE CURRENT with your account to qualify for the budget program. If you are not a gas budget customer but would like to be, stop down and discuss it with me during business hours. 2018 Gas Budget will start again on June’s billing, if you are currently a gas budget customer you will stay on the program unless you notify me to take you off. If you have a large credit from last year, it might make sense to stop the budget payments until it’s used up.
