Gentle reminder that we hope to have a good turnout for our community celebration this weekend, please mow and weed eat to make our town look nice.
Be proud of the community you call home.
Plan to come out and enjoy the festivities. All are welcome, even if you’re new to the community. Come meet your neighbors.

ALL ALUMNI OF ROUND LAKE, SIOUX VALLEY, AND BREWSTER SCHOOLS INVITED!!!!! INVITE YOUR FAMILIES, FRIENDS, AND NEIGHBORS.
FRIDAY – 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. Tours of the Community Center. Feel free to organize class get-togethers, friend groups, whatever. No cost to use the building.
SATURDAY – 10:30 a.m. WELCOME – short history of Round Lake Schools and Celebration of First Graduates Info about Round Lake Community Center and future plans. Presentation of suggested names for the Event Center and decision on what to name it! Information on itinerary for the day – what to do, what will happen, costs, and answer questions.
Silent Auction – set up in Lifelong Learning Center Bidding begins on Friday and will continue until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Winners announced promptly at 4:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. They will also be posted for those not present.
11:30 – 2:30 p.m. Carnival in the Park 30+ carnival games with tickets costing $1 each. Bouncy Houses. Tickets to be purchased at ticket booths. Several free crafts and activities for the kids. An Ice Cream Truck and Countryside Inn Food Truck will be on the premises.
11:30 a.m. BEER GARDEN in rear parking lot at the Community Center. Games available to play – Frisbee Golf, Soccer Pool, 2 sets of Bottle Bash, Skee Ball, 2 sets of Ladder Ball, 4 sets of Corn Hole, Spike Ball, Giant Beer Pong, Bulzi Bucket, Washer Toss, Croquet, Air Hockey, Foosball, Ping Pong, and Billiards. Donations are Welcome.
River City Eater Food Truck out of Windom will be selling food.
1:30 p.m. JD Productions will present “Check, Please” in the gym. NO admission fees. A one-act romantic comedy that everyone can enjoy! Coffee, teas, lemonade, snacks, to be served. Free will donations welcome.
1:30 and 3:30 p.m. Showings of “Loon Lake” a folk horror and psychological thriller about the legend of the “witch of Loon Lake”. Film is the brainchild of Nathan Wilson, a 1997 graduate of Round Lake, grandson of Gordon Wilson and son of Randy and Mary Wilson. Nathan plays the part of Louis Olsen, who makes the mistake of visiting the gravestone! Free popcorn. Non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
5:00 p.m. EVENING MEAL will be served in the cafeteria. Seating inside and out. Choice of 2 meats and 3 sides – Cost $15. Drink is extra with the exception of coffee or water. Wristbands will be sold at the entrance door. You must have a wristband to be served.
7:30 – 11:30 p.m. Concert by Diablo Sammich in the gymnasium. 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and current rock. Check them out on YouTube. Wristbands available at the door – Cost $15.00 Cash bar during the concert in the cafeteria.
7:30 – 11:00 p.m. – Tours and information of the Community Center will continue. Feel free to sit and visit with friends, or just wander through the facility.
