The next City Council meeting will be on April 13th, 2016 at 6:15pm at City Hall. Prior to the council meeting there will be Public Hearings to determine if there are Nuisance Ordinance violations that will begin at 5:15pm.

DOG LICENSES: If you do not have your 2016 Dog License yet, PLEASE stop in and pay the $2.00 fee for each dog. It’s important and required if you live in Round Lake to have your dogs licensed. Bring shot information for your dogs so I can make a copy. Thanks!

REMINDER: Remove your sump pump hoses from the sanitary sewer if you have not already done so.

SPRING CLEAN-UP: Will be Monday, April 25th and Tuesday, April 26th! You may start putting items out on the boulevard one week prior, please keep this in mind and respect your neighbors.  See enclosed list of items that are acceptable and those items that WILL NOT be picked up. If you have questions, call City Hall 507-945-8127. If you have items that are listed on the Appliance Pick-Up section that require a sticker, you may purchase the stickers at City Hall during regular business hours.

GAS BUDGET CUSTOMERS: Budgets have ended for the heating season. I will be setting up the budgets for the 2016 heating season and they will start again for May. You MUST be current with your account balance or you do not qualify to be on the budget plan. If you have been a gas budget customer, you will automatically be on the list for 2016. If you would like to be a gas budget customer, contact City Hall.

AMERICAN LEGION:  Pancakes will be on Sunday, April 3rd 8:00am to Noon and Pork Chops will be Saturday, April 16th, 5:00pm to 7:00pm, mark your calendars!

If the lid on your garbage can does not close, on a windy day it blows garbage into your neighbor’s yard. Be considerate and make sure your garbage stays in the can!

FIRE & RESCUE DEPARTMENT: The Round Lake Fire & Rescue Department is looking for volunteers. Members of the department are paid for monthly meetings, time while at trainings and all expenses for the trainings, as well as calls. Members earn a retirement fund based on years of service. The department is searching for volunteers who are willing to give their time to the community in a positive way. There are meetings monthly and periodic trainings once the initial trainings are completed. Round Lake is a great community to live in and we all need the added security of knowing we have a strong fire department if the emergency calls for it. If you are interested, please contact City Hall for more information or call Mike Smith, Fire Chief at 507-360-2449.

FIREMAN’S OPEN HOUSE!!!!: The Round Lake Fire Relief Association would like to thank you for your support     in 2015.
